muji + lego

The Japanese retail brand Muji and Lego teamed up to develop a set of 4 different boxes. Inside those boxes you’ll find the classic Lego bricks but also a few sheets of paper AND punch hole tool too, so you can create something new. I think this is a very well combination of lego and muji, with the sheets of paper (which is very japanese) and the lego bricks you can create something new and not all pixelated and square-ish toy :)

Anyway, Kenya Hara which is the art director of Muji came to Lasalle a week ago to give lecture, sadly i couldn't attend because the next day was my assessment..(and i haven't complete some of the things that need to be done!)

friday the 13th

i'm a coward. it was my last day in school, i saw him and wanted to take pictures with him, but he was with his friends, i chickened out. he left with his friends. my friends said wasted. i had a bad mood. then i ate chicken wings and slept at the balcony with my friends and it was fun :)

i just adore him :') hahaha

so this is the 1st collage looks like. i prefer the first stage without the additional collage.. lecturer wants me to do more about technical, process stuff rather than to achieve the final look for the collage.

so i made this instead, the picture on the left is the collage, and the right picture is the back of the collage

and yes, these are collages. he collects small scraps of paper from
magazines and slowly builds them into large scale artworks. and it took years to make one artwork. i think it's pain in the ass, but totally worth it. totally.
